About The Position

As a Business Development Representative (BDR) at Digacore, you will be responsible for generating new sales opportunities by identifying, researching, and engaging prospective healthcare organizations throughout the Tri-State area and beyond. This is an outbound prospecting role focused on opening doors and creating qualified meetings for the sales team. You'll connect with healthcare decision-makers, uncover business challenges, and introduce Digacore's managed IT, cybersecurity, and cloud solutions. This isn't a call-all-day role. You'll research accounts, identify meaningful business triggers, personalize outreach, and build relationships with decision-makers. You'll have mentorship, access to leadership, and the opportunity to develop the skills needed to advance into an Account Executive or Business Development Manager role.

Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in sales, business development, recruiting, customer service, account management, hospitality, or another customer-facing role.
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Comfortable initiating conversations with new people through phone, email, and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Self-motivated, coachable, and eager to learn.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Positive attitude and strong work ethic.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous BDR, SDR, inside sales, lead generation, recruiting, appointment-setting, or business development experience.
  • Experience working in healthcare, technology, cybersecurity, or professional services environments.
  • Familiarity with CRM platforms such as HubSpot or Salesforce.
  • Experience using LinkedIn Sales Navigator or similar prospecting tools.
  • Exposure to managed IT services, cybersecurity, SaaS, cloud solutions, or healthcare technology.
  • Experience attending networking events, trade shows, or industry events.
  • Familiarity with structured sales methodologies.

Responsibilities

  • Execute daily outbound prospecting through phone calls, email campaigns, LinkedIn outreach, networking, and industry events.
  • Research healthcare organizations, specialty practices, surgery centers, and other target accounts to identify key decision-makers and business opportunities.
  • Identify trigger events such as growth initiatives, new locations, staffing changes, compliance concerns, technology challenges, or cybersecurity risks.
  • Generate qualified meetings and sales opportunities for the sales team.
  • Build and maintain a healthy pipeline through consistent outreach and follow-up.
  • Develop personalized outreach strategies that resonate with healthcare leaders and business decision-makers.
  • Conduct initial conversations with prospects to understand their current IT environment, business challenges, and potential interest in Digacore's services.
  • Gather key information regarding stakeholders, business needs, and timing.
  • Schedule qualified discovery meetings for sales leadership.
  • Ensure prospects are properly documented and transitioned within the sales process.
  • Maintain detailed notes and activity records within HubSpot CRM.
  • Develop a strong understanding of Digacore's managed IT services, cybersecurity solutions, cloud offerings, and support models.
  • Learn the unique technology, compliance, and operational challenges healthcare organizations face.
  • Effectively communicate Digacore's value proposition to prospective clients.
  • Collaborate with sales and marketing teams on campaigns, messaging, and target account strategies.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development opportunities.
  • Maintain accurate activity tracking and pipeline data within HubSpot.
  • Meet or exceed established outreach, meeting generation, and pipeline goals.
  • Provide feedback on prospect objections, competitive trends, and market insights.
  • Continuously refine outreach strategies based on results and coaching feedback.
