About The Position

Buynomics is a SaaS company specializing in pricing and product optimization, utilizing large-scale simulation technologies to predict customer purchasing behavior. They aim to empower companies to make data-driven, transparent, and customer-centric commercial decisions by building an operating system for commercial decisions. This role is for a Business Development Representative Lead who will manage a team of BDRs and also carry a personal outbound quota. The position is a player-coach role, with approximately 75% of the time dedicated to managing and developing the US-based BDR team and 25% to personal sales targets. The lead will set standards for US BDRs, develop the BDR playbook for the Americas, and ensure the team meets quotas.

Requirements

  • Located in the Eastern Standard Time (EST) zone.
  • Experience in managing and developing a sales team.
  • Experience with outbound prospecting and qualifying enterprise opportunities.
  • Proficiency in developing sales playbooks, including sequencing, messaging, target account lists, and qualification criteria.
  • Ability to hold a team accountable for meeting quality standards and goals.
  • Proven track record in managing an individual outbound sales target.
  • Experience with strategic, multi-channel outreach.
  • Familiarity with the MEDDIC framework for lead transition.
  • Experience engaging with CPG, Retail, and Telecommunications sectors.
  • Ability to act as a brand ambassador and foster professional relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Lead a team of four Business Development Representatives (BDRs) and carry a personal outbound quota.
  • Set the standard for US BDRs and build the BDR playbook for the Americas.
  • Ensure the BDR team meets quotas and report performance.
  • Coach US-based BDRs on inbound lead handling, outbound prospecting, sequencing, and qualifying enterprise opportunities in the Americas.
  • Run weekly 1:1s, team meetings, and regular calling sessions.
  • Develop and refine the US outbound playbook (sequencing, messaging, target account lists, and qualification criteria) in collaboration with the VP of Sales.
  • Hold the team accountable for meeting quality standards and qualified meeting goals.
  • Manage an individual outbound target aimed at executive commercial leaders within the CPG, Retail, and Telecommunications sectors.
  • Execute strategic, multi-channel outreach to engage complex buying groups, prioritizing meaningful dialogue over sheer outreach volume.
  • Transition thoroughly vetted leads to Account Executives using the MEDDIC framework.
  • Act as a brand ambassador for Buynomics at US industry gatherings, fostering relationships within the Pricing and RGM professional circles.
