About The Position

As a Business Development Representative (BDR II) within the Unified Communications and Collaboration (UCC) Portfolio, you will play a critical role in accelerating partner growth and vendor success through relationship-building, enablement, and pipeline execution. We are looking for a motivated, results-oriented professional to join our team as a Business Development Representative supporting the UCC Business unit, and particularly the brands of Zoom and Neat. This role is ideal for a motivated sales professional who wants to expand their expertise in technology sales, become a trusted subject matter expert (SME) for their assigned vendors, enjoys outbound engagement, consultative conversations, and partner development. As a Business Development Representative II, you will be responsible for recruiting new customers and maintaining existing customer relationships, working closely with internal sales teams, vendors, and partners to drive initiatives that generate revenue, deepen relationships, and expand partner capabilities across the portfolio. This role may also require some travel and time in the field, engaging with customers and vendors, as well as developing expertise in quoting and billing processes. Requirements

  • 1–3 years of experience in business development, sales, customer success, or a related field
  • High school diploma required
  • Solid understanding of sales processes, pipeline management, and customer engagement strategies
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills, including the ability to present and negotiate effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate with diverse teams and engage stakeholders with empathy and professionalism
  • Strong organizational, time‑management, and multitasking skills in a fast‑paced environment
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and apply insights to drive results
  • Comfort with outbound calling and frequent phone‑based customer interactions
  • Proficiency with productivity tools and the ability to learn new systems and technology quickly
  • Adaptability, resilience, and the ability to perform well amid change and competing priorities
  • Willingness to travel and work occasional non‑standard hours as business needs require

Responsibilities

  • Build and nurture strong, long‑term relationships with customers and partners, ensuring a positive and consultative experience
  • Conduct outbound calls and follow up on inbound leads and pipeline opportunities to drive revenue growth
  • Identify, qualify, and advance opportunities through the sales cycle while maintaining accurate pipeline data
  • Collaborate with vendor partners to execute strategic sales and marketing initiatives
  • Support partner enablement efforts by delivering vendor training and product education as a trusted SME
  • Provide guidance on product selection, configurations, pricing, quoting, and order processing across hardware, software, and services
  • Offer consultative recommendations on product alternatives, cross‑references, and solution options
  • Actively participate in customer account planning, reviews, and ongoing relationship expansion efforts
  • Analyze sales data and performance metrics to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement
  • Partner with internal teams to ensure timely follow‑up, reporting accuracy, and operational excellence
  • Stay current on vendor programs, product offerings, and industry trends through ongoing learning and training
  • Occasionally attend vendor or industry training to deepen technical and business knowledge
