The Protective & Marine Division is seeking a candidate with extensive experience with high performance coatings in the Oil & Gas/Energy market segment. This role will be responsible for building effective relationships with select asset owners across their value chain to identify, prioritize, and secure Protective & Marine projects and discretionary business. Additionally, this role will be responsible for the proactive development of specifications and related activities with asset owners and specifiers in anticipation of future projects with these firms. This will be accomplished by engaging and influencing key decision makers including multiple levels of management, technical, procurement and project teams. Another important aspect of this position will be to provide training and guidance to Protective & Marine Sales Representatives and customers regarding relevant high performance coating solutions. This position is a field position and will be expected to travel at least 50% of the time, in the Louisiana Territory (this territory will cover throughout New Orleans, Geismer, Baton Rouge, Lafayette and Lake Charles areas). Job duties include contact with other employees and access confidential and proprietary information and/or other items of value, and such access may be supervised or unsupervised.
