About The Position

Prodia Dental, a division of Abrasive Technology, is launching a new line of dental instruments and is seeking a driven Dental Instrument Sales Representative to lead this expansion throughout the Northeast. This is a new, highly visible role with the opportunity to build a market from the ground up. The representative will be responsible for introducing, positioning, and expanding the newest dental innovations across DSOs, independent dental practices, universities, and labs throughout the region. This role is ideal for a 'hunter' who thrives on building relationships, opening doors, and driving territory growth.

Requirements

  • 3-5 years of proven sales experience with a strong hunter mentality: dental or medical device sales preferred.
  • Experience building relationships with DSO's, dentists, and healthcare professionals.
  • Self-starter mindset with the ability to work independently and manage a travel-heavy schedule.
  • Strong business development and territory-building skills.
  • Excellent presentation, communication, and follow-up activates.
  • Familiarity with CRM and marketing tools to drive pipeline growth.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen, lawful permanent resident of the United States, or properly licensed foreign person due to ITAR/EAR regulations.

Responsibilities

  • Build and develop the market for our new dental instrument line, with long-term expansion opportunities.
  • Hunt new business by developing relationships with DSOs, dentists, decision-makers, universities, and labs.
  • Follow up on qualified leads generated by our internal Brand Ambassador.
  • Collaborate with the Brand Ambassador to provide samples, marketing materials, and in-office support.
  • Educate and engage dental professionals on the value of our rotary diamond instruments and support tools through presentations, demonstrations, and relationship-building.
  • Travel extensively (80%) to meet clients, attend dental industry events, and establish strong market presence.
  • Leverage marketing tools and CRM Resources to strengthen brand visibility and build a healthy pipeline.
  • Provide ongoing feedback to leadership on customer needs, competitive activity, and growth opportunities within Massachusetts and Connecticut markets.
