About The Position

Featherless.ai is seeking an experienced Business Development Representative (AI Cloud) who is technical and thrives at the intersection of AI, communication, and execution. This role is not traditional sales; it requires fluency in AI to engage in conversations with model creators, AI startups, enterprises, and developers. The ideal candidate is a charismatic developer looking to transition into sales. The company provides instant access to over 30,000 open-source AI models and focuses on efficiency, reliability, and model optimization to democratize AI.

Requirements

  • 1-3 years in Cloud Infrastructure Sales or Developer Relations.
  • Comfortable engaging technical audiences (developers, founders, researchers).
  • AI power user.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication in English – concise, credible, human.
  • Entrepreneurial and self-driven – operates independently and gets things done.
  • Familiar with HubSpot, Clay, n8n, or similar tools.

Responsibilities

  • Build and qualify pipeline across enterprises and AI startups.
  • Manage inbound requests through chat and email.
  • Manage outreach sequences and automations using tools like HubSpot, Clay, Reply.io, and n8n.
  • Re-engage existing sign-ups and subscribers to identify high-value users.
  • Coordinate partner calls and discovery meetings with the CRO and founders.
  • Track CRM and pipeline metrics, providing weekly reports.
  • Attend events to generate pipeline and establish key relationships.
  • Propose creative go-to-market (GTM) experiments and new partnership opportunities.
