Business Development & Partnerships Associate

Provectus•Massachusetts, MA

About The Position

Provectus is seeking a business development and partnerships professional to manage two revenue motions: converting partner-sourced enterprise leads into Provectus clients and independently building a self-sourced pipeline. The role focuses on the Anthropic and AWS partnerships and on enterprise accounts in Financial Services and Life Sciences. The position sells consulting engagements and AI implementation services, rather than software licenses, and works closely with delivery leads and architects to scope proposals. The person in this role will own Anthropic-sourced leads from qualification through signed statement of work, develop relationships with Anthropic partner and field sales teams, and build joint go-to-market activity. They will also prospect and close new enterprise business independently. The role includes partner planning and pipeline reviews, co-marketing, partner-tier maintenance, market intelligence sharing, and representing Provectus at partner and customer events. Travel of up to 30% is expected. Provectus offers either a B2B contract model or a full-time model, with an OTE range of $120k.

Requirements

  • 3–7 years of experience in business development or partner/alliance management, with at least part of that experience in a consulting firm.
  • Experience converting partner-sourced leads through a full enterprise sales cycle, from discovery to signed statement of work.
  • Demonstrated ability to independently run a full sales cycle from prospecting through close without dedicated BDR support.
  • Experience selling complex, multi-month consulting engagements and statement-of-work deals rather than SaaS subscriptions.
  • Excellent written and verbal executive-level communication skills, including in-room presence with C-suite and VP-level audiences.
  • Experience in Financial Services (banking, insurance, or capital markets) or Life Sciences (pharma or biotech).
  • Willingness to travel up to 30% for customer meetings, executive briefings, onsite workshops, conferences, and other business development activities.

  • Experience selling AI/ML services, LLM-based products, or cloud data.
  • A proven track record managing an Anthropic, AWS, or GCP partner relationship, including co-selling, joint pipeline, MDF, or co-marketing.

Responsibilities

  • Prospect independently into enterprise accounts in Financial Services and Life Sciences using outbound outreach, networking, events, and referrals.
  • Run the full sales cycle, including discovery, solution scoping, proposal development, negotiation, and close.
  • Build and maintain a personal network of enterprise decision-makers and economic buyers on the East Coast.
  • Serve as Provectus's primary point of contact with Anthropic partner and field sales teams.
  • Receive, qualify, and own enterprise leads shared by Anthropic from first conversation through signed statement of work.
  • Identify co-sell and joint go-to-market opportunities within Anthropic's product and field motion.

  • Represent Provectus at Anthropic partner events, executive briefings, and ecosystem calls.
  • Maintain and upgrade partner tier through certifications, co-marketing activations, and case study production.
  • Work with Provectus delivery leads and architects to scope proposals accurately.
  • Share market intelligence, including buyer objections, competitive dynamics, and vertical patterns, with leadership and marketing.

Benefits

  • Performance-based bonuses and strong earning potential.
  • Unlimited Vacation policy.
