About The Position

Clarion Medical Technologies, a part of Richards Group, specializes in surgical, vision and aesthetic healthcare medical devices. Some of these products include laser technologies, diagnostic tools for early disease detection and advanced imaging systems. Reporting to the Regional Manager, the Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible for driving growth across Clarion’s portfolio of medical aesthetic technologies. Working within a territory-based model, the BDM identifies new business opportunities, expands market share, and supports clinics in successfully integrating Clarion technologies into their practices. This role blends strategic sales, market development, and practice consulting, partnering with dermatology clinics, plastic surgery practices, and medical aesthetic centers to help them grow revenue, improve patient outcomes, and strengthen their competitive position.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in medical aesthetics, healthcare, marketing, or business development.
  • Proven success meeting or exceeding sales quotas.
  • Strong consultative selling skills and ability to understand clinic business needs.
  • Excellent relationship-building skills with physicians and clinic leadership.
  • Strong business acumen, including understanding of pricing, ROI modeling, and clinic economics.
  • Ability to analyze market trends and identify growth opportunities.
  • Entrepreneurial, self-motivated, and comfortable working in a performance-driven environment.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with capital equipment or high-value medical technology sales is an asset.
  • Familiarity with dermatology, plastic surgery, medical aesthetics, or wellness clinics preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Develop and execute territory growth plans to meet and exceed revenue targets.
  • Prospect, qualify, and support the closing of new business opportunities.
  • Conduct needs assessments and financial justification discussions with clinics.
  • Act as a practice consultant by analyzing clinic operations, service offerings, and patient demographics.
  • Support clinics with pricing strategies, treatment packages, and revenue modeling.
  • Identify opportunities to increase treatment utilization and patient conversion.
  • Build strong relationships with physicians, clinic owners, and key decision-makers.
  • Lead onboarding and integration of new technologies into clinic workflows.
  • Collaborate with clinical trainers and internal teams to ensure successful adoption.
  • Evaluate clinic marketing strategies and support patient acquisition initiatives.
  • Conduct regular business reviews and provide strategic recommendations to drive growth.
  • Represent Clarion within the aesthetic medical community and support local market development.
