About The Position

iNX Commercial Cleaning Solutions is seeking a Business Development Manager for their In-Field Sales team in the Greater Los Angeles Area. This is a full-time position reporting to the Director of Sales and Marketing. The role is designed for an experienced sales professional who is tired of constantly shifting targets and excessive administrative work. iNX is a family-owned commercial cleaning franchisor with a strong presence in the Los Angeles market for nearly 25 years and is experiencing rapid growth. This position offers a unique opportunity to build and own a territory with significant potential, as there hasn't been a dedicated Business Development Manager in the LA market for eight years. A key differentiator of this role is the support from an inside sales team that handles scoping, pricing, and proposals after a qualified prospect is identified, allowing the Business Development Manager to focus on relationship building, attending events, and finding new opportunities. The compensation structure is a straight salary with permanent increases for meeting and exceeding KPIs, rather than a commission-based model with moving targets.

Requirements

  • Experience in field sales, including getting past the front desk, building relationships over time, and turning cold introductions into long-term clients.
  • Experience selling services to facility managers, operations directors, or property managers.
  • Ability to build a territory without constant supervision.
  • Two or more years of outside B2B sales experience in facility services, commercial cleaning, or a closely related industry.
  • Active in IFMA, BOMA, or similar organizations, or genuinely ready to be.
  • A real network in Greater LA or the track record to build one fast.
  • Self-motivated, field-first, and comfortable owning your day.

Responsibilities

  • Owning a five-county Greater Los Angeles territory covering LA, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino, and Ventura counties.
  • Targeting large commercial accounts of 80,000 square feet and above with $20,000 or more per month in recurring janitorial services.
  • Attending IFMA, BOMA, IREM, and other industry events and building relationships that turn into real business.
  • Partnering with 20 to 25 of our top existing accounts to identify opportunities for expanded services, additional locations, and deeper relationships, without being responsible for day-to-day account management.
  • Working with a tight knit inside sales team that handles everything behind the handoff.
