About The Position

This is an exciting opportunity for a sales professional with expertise in compressors, compressed air systems, and related technologies to drive business growth, build strong partnerships, and lead strategic sales initiatives across multiple industries. The company is a leader in manufacturing oil-free compressors, compressed air systems, and vacuum solutions, specializing in industries such as power generation, data centers, emissions reduction, gas generation, methane abatement, pneumatic applications, food and beverage, and packaging. The role involves leading business development and market growth for oil-free compressors, compressed air systems, and vacuum solutions across the US and Canada.

Requirements

  • A BS/BA undergraduate degree is required.
  • 2-5 years of technical sales experience, with a focus on compressors, compressed air systems, or industrial equipment.
  • Proficiency in CRM tools and/or Excel (formulas, pivot tables, etc.) for customer tracking and trend analysis.
  • Excellent time management and organizational skills, with the ability to manage a large territory.
  • Ability to travel up to 60% of the time across the US and Canada.

Nice To Haves

  • Strong experience in compressor systems, oil-free air technology, and related industries is preferred.
  • Familiarity with data centers, power generation, emission reduction, and gas generation applications.

Responsibilities

  • Lead business development and market growth for oil-free compressors, compressed air systems, and vacuum solutions.
  • Build and expand relationships with manufacturers, EPC firms, A&E firms, construction companies, and installers, particularly around compressor systems and compressed air solutions.
  • Focus on prospecting and expanding into industries such as data centers, emissions reduction, power generation, gas generation, food and beverage, and pneumatic applications.
  • Collaborate with engineering, operations, and sales teams to design and deliver tailored solutions for compressor systems, vacuum solutions, and compressed air applications.
  • Manage quoting processes for compressors, air systems, and vacuum pumps, providing timely responses to customer requests for pricing, lead times, and technical specifications.
  • Become a subject matter expert in compressor technology, compressed air systems, and vacuum systems, continuously enhancing market strategies.
