About The Position

Business Development Manager drives growth for treatment facilities by cultivating referral pipelines, establishing community partnerships, and expanding market presence. They identify new business opportunities, manage existing accounts, and collaborate with clinical teams to meet strategic revenue and admissions goals.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business, Marketing, Healthcare Administration, or related field preferred.
  • Minimum 3 years experience in business development, sales, or care coordination, preferably in behavioral health, addiction, or healthcare settings.
  • Exceptional communication, negotiation, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
  • Ability to travel for local/regional face-to-face engagements.
  • Strong understanding of behavioral health, managed care, and clinical standards.
  • Proficiency in using CRM tools (like Salesforce) to track leads, monitor performance metrics, and report on growth.
  • Ability to secure partnership agreements and navigate community relationships.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, secure, and maintain relationships with referral sources.
  • Execute marketing plans, strategies, and goals established by senior leadership to increase patient admissions and facility revenue.
  • Conduct field visits, manage assigned accounts, and ensure high-level satisfaction with facility services.
  • Track referral data, admissions, and outreach metrics using CRM tools to adjust strategies and report on growth.
  • Represent the facility at industry conferences, networking events, community meetings, and health fairs to boost brand awareness.
  • Bridge the gap between referral sources and the internal admissions/clinical teams to ensure a smooth transition for patients/clients.
  • Oversee day-to-day responsibilities and coordination of the Business Development team.
  • Perform other duties as assigned within the scope of the position.
