QTA provides 24x7 technical supports to all the users in various industries worldwide (more information at: http://www.qta.com) The Business Development Manager is responsible for identifying, qualifying, and securing new business opportunities while positioning the company’s analytical capabilities to existing and prospective customers. This role is accountable for achieving and exceeding annual revenue targets within an assigned territory by proactively prospecting new accounts and expanding opportunities within select existing customers across Eurofins laboratories and external manufacturing markets. The position drives new revenue through sales visits, outbound outreach, and value‑based presentations, while ensuring opportunities align with market strategy, operational capabilities, and laboratory capacity. The Business Development Manager also leverages experience and industry knowledge to support and mentor sales and marketing colleagues. Strong track record identifying prospects and initiating contact through trade shows, cold calling, and market research; diligent follow-up of sales opportunities to drive QTA business; able to leverage internal resources and the broader Eurofins network to win deals. Consultative/technical sales capability investigates client needs and develops fit-for-purpose solutions using QTA and Eurofins capabilities. Manages and initiates commercial customer documents/contracts (e.g., quotations, RFIs, proposals) in line with sales plans and company guidelines. Contributes to sales team success by supporting program strategy development, proposals, capability presentations, and proposal defense for assigned accounts. Accountable for achieving personal and departmental targets; strong collaboration and influence skills to secure new business. Delivers high-quality customer presentations and maintains consistent communication on laboratory and ancillary service capabilities. Maintains accurate, up-to-date customer records and activity in CRM. Builds and sustains trade relationships through field travel, conventions, customer visits, and third-party influencer engagement; stays current on market developments and reports insights to management.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree, preferably with chemistry, food, science or engineering background; other two-year degree or certification with 5 years of relevant experience
  • Strong computer skills, including Microsoft Office, Internet, and connectivity
  • 2 –5 years of experience in sales or business development roles
  • Demonstrated ability and strong interest in outbound sales and new customer acquisition
  • Strong prospecting skills, including cold outreach, lead qualification, and pipeline development
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to engage decision-makers and articulate value propositions
  • Goal-oriented mindset with a track record of working toward measurable performance targets
  • Ability to learn and communicate technical or scientific services
  • Ability to understand prospects' operations, and will be capable of identifying and developing customer value propositions
