About The Position

We are looking for a dynamic, consultative Business Development Manager to join our growth team. This role blends new business acquisition with strategic account management—ideal for someone who enjoys both hunting new opportunities and nurturing long-term client partnerships.   You’ll be calling on and working with heads of leadership development, senior HR, Talent, Learning & Development, and Inclusion leaders to consult and proposed tailored Leadership Development and Inclusion engagements.  The result will be having a meaningful impact on leadership, culture, and performance of our clients. Location: Fully remote in US and Canada (with travel as needed)

Requirements

  • Proven success in B2B consultative sales or account management.
  • Experience selling into enterprise or mid‑market organizations.
  • Strong discovery, presentation, influencing, and negotiation skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience selling learning solutions, professional services, or HR/talent offerings is a strong advantage.
  • A track record of hunting for new business while expanding existing accounts.

Responsibilities

  • Drive New Client Acquisition
  • Identify, pursue, and win new enterprise and mid‑market clients.
  • Own the full sales cycle—from discovery and qualification to proposal and close.
  • Build and maintain a high-quality, predictable sales pipeline.
  • Develop strategic entry approaches for complex organizations.
  • Grow & Manage Strategic Accounts
  • Serve as the primary relationship owner for assigned clients.
  • Identify opportunities to expand partnerships through additional programs, multi‑year engagements, coaching, and digital learning.
  • Partner with clients to shape long-term leadership and learning roadmaps.
  • Support renewals by demonstrating measurable value and impact.
  • Lead Consultative, Solution‑Based Sales
  • Conduct discovery to understand business, leadership, performance, culture, and inclusion challenges.
  • Recommend tailored GP Strategies solutions—from facilitator-led programs to coaching, live, virtual and digital learning.
  • Deliver compelling proposals linked to measurable outcomes and ROI.
