About The Position
ServiceMaster Elite is seeking a driven, people-focused Business Development Manager to grow its commercial cleaning services across the New Orleans and Baton Rouge metro areas. The position focuses on developing new business, building client relationships, presenting service solutions, and managing sales activity and customer accounts. The company describes itself as a locally owned franchise and notes that hiring decisions are made at the franchise level.
Requirements
- At least 1 year of outside sales experience; entry-level candidates with strong drive will be considered.
- Experience with HubSpot or another CRM.
- Microsoft 365 skills.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Organized, self-motivated, and goal-oriented.
- Ability to work independently and handle pressure.
- Valid driver’s license and clean driving record.
- Reliable transportation.
- Successful background check and drug screening.

- Associate or bachelor’s degree preferred.
Responsibilities
- Generate leads through outreach, networking, research, and cold calls.
- Schedule and conduct meetings with decision-makers.
- Build strong relationships and represent the brand professionally.
- Present solutions and negotiate service agreements.
- Scope projects and prepare estimates.
- Maintain accounts and perform customer service and quality checks.
- Track activities and the sales pipeline in HubSpot CRM.
- Plan and forecast monthly and quarterly sales goals.
- Monitor industry trends and competitor activity.
