Business Development Manager, Event Commerce (Remote - US)

Lavendo•San Francisco, CA
•$100,000 - $200,000•Remote

About The Position

Lavendo is recruiting for a client, a seed-stage event commerce company with $16 million in funding and backing from Andreessen Horowitz (a16z). Its platform combines tickets, merchandise, drinks, tables, and sponsorship placements with affiliate tracking and automatic commission payouts, helping event organizers manage more of their business in one place and reward the people driving sales. The company's mission is to help organizers earn more from every event and make it easier for people behind local events and nightlife to grow their businesses. The Business Development Manager will grow the local events and nightlife business by converting relationships with promoters, venue owners, and organizers into new accounts. The role introduces prospective customers to the platform, negotiates commercial terms, and owns customer relationships from first conversation through launch. Reporting to the Head of Business Development, the manager will work directly with leadership and help shape the sales approach as the company grows. The position offers autonomy over pipeline development and commercial execution, including sourcing, negotiating, closing, onboarding support, and post-sale customer support. The position is full-time and remote from anywhere in the United States. Travel to client events is encouraged but not required. Attendance at an optional monthly on-site “power week” is available, with room and board covered. Visa transfers and sponsorship are considered.
