About The Position

ProDrivers, the nation’s largest CDL-driver staffing provider, is seeking a Business Development Manager to help businesses stay on the road with reliable, DOT-compliant driver talent. This role involves conducting in-field prospecting and account management, developing relationships with transportation managers, fleet supervisors, and logistics leaders, and building a sales pipeline through various outreach methods. The goal is to identify client challenges and provide consultative solutions centered on safety, reliability, and DOT compliance to win new business and expand the local transportation market.

Requirements

  • High-energy sales professional who thrives on competition.
  • Proven success acquiring new customers using modern sales tools.
  • Strong understanding of logistics or willingness to learn the industry’s challenges.
  • Excellent communication and relationship-building skills.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • Outside sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct 70% in-field prospecting and 30% account management.
  • Develop relationships with transportation managers, fleet supervisors, and logistics leaders.
  • Use LinkedIn, cold outreach, and field visits to build your sales pipeline.
  • Identify challenges such as driver shortages, compliance needs, and turnover.
  • Provide consultative solutions centered on safety, reliability, and DOT compliance.
  • Win new business and expand your local transportation market.
