About The Position

This role is responsible for leading commercial strategy and new business development with D3 & NEV customers. The position involves developing talent within the organization through mentoring, strengthening cross-functional capabilities, and supporting succession planning. Key activities include reviewing RFQ packages, coordinating cross-functional responses, developing pricing strategies, leading commercial negotiations, and ensuring customer requirements are translated into internal objectives. The role also requires monitoring program milestones, supporting successful product launch execution, contributing to long-range planning, and leading customer presentations and reviews. Maintaining strong relationships with OEM purchasing, engineering, and program leadership is crucial, as is partnering with innovation teams to identify new product opportunities.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Engineering Technology, Business, or related field
  • 8+ years automotive experience in sales, engineering, or program management
  • Knowledge of automotive product development and RFQ processes
  • Strong project management, analytical, and negotiation skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with plastic injection molded components or automotive exterior systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead commercial strategy and new business development with D3 & NEV customers

  • Develop pricing strategy and lead commercial negotiations

  • Support division long‑range planning and annual operating plan
  • Lead customer presentations, program reviews, and technical discussions
  • Partner with innovation teams to identify new product opportunities
  • Maintain strong relationships with OEM purchasing, engineering, and program leadership
