Aggreko's Cooling Tower Services group provides innovative rental cooling tower solutions for various vertical markets including chemical, refinery, steel and paper manufacturing, power generation, HVAC building services and contracting. The Business Development Manager will be responsible for their assigned region as a subject matter expert, providing technical support and collaborative sales guidance to outside sales representatives. They will also act as a direct seller on larger, complex projects in the industrial sectors. This role requires the ability to work at the plant level with customer equipment owners and subject matter experts, conduct executive-level communication, and pursue and secure key/strategic accounts. The position involves performing site visits, visualizing and conveying piping and hydraulic solutions, preparing and presenting solution-based proposals, and developing strategic capture plans. The Business Development Manager will sell Aggreko's value by promoting value propositions, serving as a product expert, and developing account growth plans. They will also be responsible for meeting territory sales and standard margin goals, cultivating customer relationships, and providing expert product knowledge across all product lines. This includes performing thermal and hydraulic calculations, designing cooling tower solutions, and preparing technical specifications, drawings, and proposals. The role also involves providing technical support and guidance to customers and sales representatives throughout the project lifecycle and staying updated on industry trends by participating in industry events and associations.
