Whop is building institution-grade financial infrastructure for the next generation of entrepreneurship. We're hiring a BD lead to cut one-to-many deals that bring on thousands of new businesses to Whop. We want someone whose entire job is hunting, closing, and executing these partnerships until the merchants are live on Whop for payments, banking, and ads. The types of partnerships we want cut: Creators and operators with large audiences of businesses: Codie Sanchez for SMBs, Pace Morby for real estate, Hormozi for small biz owners. Venture funds / incubators (YC, A16z, ZFellows, Insight, Bain, etc) PE firms looking to increase margin post-acquisition across their portfolio. Companies already onboarding our ICP: business incorporation platforms, lawyers, accountants, venture funds, incubators. You own the deal from end to end: scouting the partner, cutting the deal, and staying on it until the partner's network is actively ramping on Whop. A signed contract means nothing if the merchants aren't live. Once the partnership is ramping on autopilot, an account manager takes over to maintain the relationship and you go hunt the next one. The goal is to close 2-3 massive deals per year and get maximum impact out of each. This role reports to the Head of Sales and is based in NYC.
