About The Position

Rolling Suds of Columbus-Auburn is seeking a motivated, relationship-driven Business Development Manager to help grow our residential and commercial power washing business throughout the Columbus, GA, Auburn-Opelika, AL, and LaGrange, GA markets. This role is responsible for generating new business opportunities, building long-term client relationships, managing local brand presence, and helping drive consistent revenue growth. The ideal candidate is energetic, self-motivated, organized, and comfortable prospecting, networking, social media engagement, and closing deals. Experience in B2B sales, service-based sales, property management, facilities management, or commercial services is preferred.

Requirements

  • 2+ years of sales, business development, or marketing experience preferred
  • Strong communication and relationship-building skills
  • Comfortable with cold outreach, networking, and face-to-face sales
  • Experience managing social media accounts for a business preferred
  • Self-starter with the ability to work independently
  • Organized with strong follow-through and time management
  • Proficiency with CRM systems, Microsoft Office, Canva, and social media platforms
  • Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required

Responsibilities

  • Generate new commercial and residential leads through prospecting, networking, referrals, social media outreach, and community engagement
  • Develop relationships with property managers, facility managers, HOAs, retail centers, restaurants, schools, municipalities, and other target customers
  • Conduct site visits and provide estimates for power washing and exterior cleaning services
  • Follow up on inbound leads and convert opportunities into closed business
  • Build and manage a sales pipeline using CRM software
  • Meet or exceed monthly revenue and sales activity goals
  • Identify opportunities for recurring service agreements and long-term contracts
  • Manage and maintain company social media accounts including Facebook, Instagram, and LinkedIn
  • Create and schedule content showcasing completed projects, customer testimonials, promotions, and community involvement
  • Capture photos and videos of projects and job sites for marketing use
  • Serve as the primary point of contact for prospective and existing customers
  • Maintain strong customer relationships to encourage repeat business and referrals
  • Attend networking events, chamber meetings, and local business functions to increase brand awareness throughout Columbus, Auburn, Opelika, and LaGrange
  • Coordinate with operations teams to ensure customer expectations are met
  • Track sales activities, pipeline progress, and customer interactions
  • Prepare weekly sales reports and forecasts
  • Maintain accurate customer records and proposal documentation
  • Collaborate with ownership on territory growth strategies and marketing initiatives
