About The Position

Electronic World (EW) is a rapidly expanding brand specializing in mobile accessories and consumer electronics, offering products from power and protection to audio and everyday tech essentials. Based in Sugar Land, Texas, EW operates with an entrepreneurial spirit, focusing on product quality and long-term partnerships. The company is currently expanding into high-traffic retail channels such as convenience, wireless, and independent retail. This role is for a Business Development Manager to spearhead this expansion. It is a field-facing position focused on prospecting, presenting, and closing new accounts, then nurturing these into repeat partnerships. The ideal candidate thrives on relationship-building, identifying opportunities, and making an immediate impact.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of B2B or territory sales experience.
  • Proven success in winning new accounts and growing repeat revenue.
  • Experience in convenience, wireless, or independent retail channels.
  • Strong commercial skills: prospecting, pricing, negotiation, and closing.
  • Independent, self-motivated, and accountable with a hunter mindset—balanced by a focus on building long-term partnerships.
  • CRM proficiency and solid Excel/email skills.

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years of B2B or territory sales experience.
  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Existing network in convenience/wireless/retail channels.
  • Experience selling mobile accessories or consumer electronics.
  • Bilingual (English/Spanish) is a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Own the full sales cycle: prospecting - presenting - negotiating - onboarding - repeat growth.
  • Build strong relationships with store owners, buyers, and distributors.
  • Present EW’s product assortment with clear articulation of retail margin and merchandising opportunities.
  • Tailor pricing and assortments based on customer type and demand.
  • Collaborate internally on inventory, launches, samples, and promotions.
  • Represent EW at trade shows and networking events while tracking pipeline activity and competitor insights.
