About The Position

Thryv is seeking a driven, self-motivated Business Advisor (Thryv SaaS) to join their high-performing field sales team across Australia and New Zealand. This is a field-based role requiring daily market engagement through door knocking, cold calling, networking, and face-to-face meetings with business owners. The role involves introducing them to the Thryv platform, an award-winning all-in-one SaaS solution designed to help SMBs save time, communicate better, and get paid faster. This position is ideal for individuals with a strong drive to build their own pipeline, resilience in challenging situations, and excellent people skills to convert prospects into loyal clients.

Requirements

  • A proven hunter — you love the thrill of finding and closing new business
  • Strong B2B sales background, ideally in SaaS, tech or field sales environments
  • Resilient and relentless — you bounce back quickly and stay motivated
  • Confident cold caller and doorknocker who knows how to open doors
  • Consultative seller — you listen first, then match the right solution to the need
  • Highly self-motivated and capable of working autonomously in the field
  • Organised and disciplined in managing a territory, pipeline and daily schedule
  • Tech-savvy and comfortable demonstrating SaaS platforms to business owners

Responsibilities

  • Prospecting and cold calling daily to generate new business opportunities
  • Door knocking and networking to build your pipeline from the ground up
  • Meeting business owners face-to-face and presenting tailored Thryv SaaS solutions
  • Managing the full sales cycle — from first contact through to close and onboarding handover
  • Achieving and exceeding monthly new business sales targets
  • Owning your territory: planning your days with purpose and discipline
  • Maintaining accurate pipeline records and reporting to your Account Director
  • Staying sharp on Thryv product updates, the competitive landscape and SMB market trends
