About The Position

Enerflex Water Solutions is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to lead growth initiatives across our Water Solutions portfolio in the US market. In this role, you will be responsible for identifying new business opportunities, developing strong client relationships, and driving revenue growth within key industrial sectors. You will bring an innovative mindset and strong interpersonal communication skills with a desire to develop and win business, leveraging the existing regional relationships, footprint and presence.

Requirements

  • Experienced in all facets of Produced Water: sales, design, manufacturing, installation, operation, and service of produced water facilities.
  • Strong understanding of the various USA Oil and Gas markets.
  • Analytical, a collaborator, an influencer, and results driven who engages with excellent communication skills and a strong work ethic.
  • Undergraduate Degree (preferably in Business, Engineering, or a discipline which complements the business strategy).
  • Minimum 10 years in a related sales or business development role.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of the produced water industry and the oil and gas sector.
  • Strong customer relationship management skills with the ability to build trust and long-term partnerships.
  • Experience and proven ability to make cold calls and generate new business.
  • Ability to plan and think strategically.
  • Excellent organizational, administrative, and problem-solving skills.
  • Competence to manage multiple projects and initiatives at the same time.
  • Team player with honesty, integrity and an aptitude for working in a collaborative environment.
  • Flexibility to effectively manage changing circumstances, last-minute requests and changing deadlines.
  • Visionary mindset with the ability to identify market opportunities and translate them into actionable growth strategies.
  • Proven past business development/sales experience.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and manage all business development opportunities within the US market, identifying, developing, and closing new and existing project opportunities to achieve revenue targets.
  • Develop and execute a comprehensive business development strategy to expand market presence, open new client channels, and deliver on growth objectives.
  • Build, cultivate, and maintain strong relationships with key clients, gaining a deep understanding of their needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Identify and establish local strategic partnerships to enhance the company's market presence and drive revenue growth.
  • Act as the primary commercial interface for US Water Solutions opportunities, coordinating between customers, regional support, product line teams, legal, and finance.
  • Develop and present creative solutions to prospective customers; negotiate business terms and contracts, lead the closure of deals.
  • Understand the Enerflex water solutions offerings and market niches for Produced Water in the US market; develop strategies to penetrate these niches.
  • Meet with customers and promote our products that align with solutions that will exceed their expectations.
  • Understand and support client requirements and specifications for water/oil/EPF treatment packages and development of “Win Strategy” with proposals department.
  • Identify and participate in key industry events as an exhibitor to promote Enerflex Water Solutions.
  • Organize and support customer and engineering firm engagement sessions to showcase Enerflex capabilities and solutions.
  • Provide regular updates to Water Solutions management team on progress and ongoing strategies.
  • Collaborate with other regions to align messaging and promote Water Solutions offerings globally in support of customer needs.
