About The Position

Our business is growing, and we have an ongoing need to build and scale our Sales Team. As a Business Development Manager - Refrigerated Division, you will join our Boomer Fresh Team. This is a division of Dynamic Connections that focuses specifically on produce and refrigerated goods in the Canada and US markets. This role offers the unique opportunity to control your success. You will be responsible for driving produce business growth by effectively developing a pipeline of potential customers in conjunction with the ideal customer profile of the business. You will focus on prospects in the US that ship produce products on refrigerated equipment both domestically and cross border. Your role is to identify, prospect, and secure new customers using a variety of tools and methods with the support of the entire organization. Initially, you will focus on prospecting and cold calling. As you build a book of business, you will cultivate deep, meaningful, and rewarding long-term relationships with customers, striving to solve problems and fulfill their needs. Once a new customer is secured, you will partner with our best-in-class Solutions Team, who will focus deeply on your customers’ needs. This creates an opportunity to continue finding new customers while receiving permanent commissions on every customer you help the company partner with. Requirements

  • A proven track record in sales with demonstrated quantitative and qualitative metrics.
  • Self-starter with initiative.
  • Natural born communicator with active listening and clear communication skills.
  • Highly collaborative.
  • Endlessly curious, enjoying the thrill of the hunt for new customers and problems to solve.
  • Demonstrated prior success in sales.
  • Demonstrated sales metrics.
  • Prior cold calling experience.
  • If remote, proven experience in produce or refrigerated sales.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Salesforce is an asset, but not required.
  • Previous sales software experience to be data driven and customer focused.
  • Previous experience in produce or refrigerated sales (if remote).
