The Business Development Manager (BDM) is responsible increasing OEM and B2B sales of all QIAGEN products through development of new opportunities and growing existing accounts via share of wallet. BDM is also to ensure customer satisfaction while they work with QIAGEN. BDM will work closely with project management, SAMs and customer service in both the US and global markets to drive opportunities to close. He/she should be comfortable selling to small start up accounts and large fortune 50 accounts. BDM should be comfortable with long sales cycles and know how to manage multiple complex opportunities at one time. BDM should have extensive knowledge of NGS and PCR work flows.
