Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years demonstrated and relevant experience in personal selling within the AV-IT industry
  • Proven experience working with adjacent sales teams (consultant liaisons, strategic and channel)
  • Proven skills hunting for new accounts and uncovering new enterprise level customers
  • Ability to own new customer acquisition and follow it through to sales order
  • Possess strong computer skills including Microsoft Office and sales management software (ERP/CRM etc.)
  • Strong communicator; self-motivated, with excellent listening, customer management, and time management skills
  • Ability to build positive working relationships at all levels
  • Consistent reporting and updates via CRM software
  • Technical knowledge of Q-SYS or similar AV products

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred

Responsibilities

  • Driving adoption of the Q-SYS platform and ecosystem within the Enterprise vertical by championing the Q-SYS solution set to key contacts within the top multi-national corporations.
  • Developing and continuously improving the technical understanding of the Q-SYS solution set
  • Communicating the Q-SYS value proposition
  • Asking pertinent questions and Actively Listening
  • Sharing Key Information with Internal Q-SYS stakeholders (Consultant Liaisons, Channel Sales & Strategic Account Team)
  • Maintaining Consistent Sales Activity Levels
  • Identifying and pursuing opportunities for account growth and net new business
  • Developing a comprehensive understanding of how enterprise AV-IT teams are structured and operate
  • Learning and employing company workflows and protocols
  • Understanding common client use cases and applications
  • Working well in all phases of the sales cycle (e.g. prospecting, client development, account management)
  • Sharing company organizational values and goals
  • Attending trade shows to interact with new and existing customers at the booth and perform post-show follow-up
  • Driving attendance at customer-facing events like technical training sessions and roundtable events.
  • Organizing and conducting effective end customer meetings
  • Maintaining data integrity with the Salesforce CRM
  • Attending training to develop relevant knowledge, techniques and skills.
  • Fostering a positive and collaborative work environment
