About The Position
Data Services Sales commercializes proprietary data from Group Deutsche Börse as well as international cooperation partners. Moreover, the area serves partner exchanges in terms of market data marketing and dissemination. We are looking to hire a business developer in Chicago to market and promote the data and analytics offering from Deutsche Börse.
Requirements
- Successfully graduated at university in business administration or a related subjects
- Minimum of 5+ years experience in sales trading, sales of financial data and analytics or sales of investment products
- Financial market experience including a deep understanding of product offerings, ideally from working in trading or quant funds
- Proven sales track record, strong commercial attitude and persistence
- Excellent communication and presentation skills, high analytical competence
- Strong team player and cooperative attitude
Responsibilities
- Proactively engage with consumers of data and analytics internationally
- Do market research, identification of demand and cross-selling opportunities
- Develop and execute sales strategies
- Create ad-hoc presentations for internal and external distribution
- Confidently present the data and analytics offerings and lead client facing meetings
- Bring Business Development capabilities with confident cold calling techniques
- Manage a pipeline effectively
