About The Position

This is a key role focused on leading the development and execution of strategic initiatives to expand our client base and capture new business opportunities within the residential and single-family construction sector. The ideal candidate will bring an established market presence and existing relationships within the construction industry, along with a strong understanding of construction processes, material supply cycles, and current industry trends. Requirements

3–5 years of experience in business development and management; experience in the residential or single-family construction sector strongly preferred.
Established market presence and pre-existing relationships within the construction industry.
Leadership experience preferred, with the potential to build and lead a divisional team in the future.
Sales experience and/or a strong purchasing background in building materials such as siding, lumber, or roofing preferred.
Comfortable with customer-facing work, including office visits, cold-calling, and lead follow-up.
Willingness to travel locally up to 25% and attend industry events as needed.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Acumatica is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies to achieve and surpass growth targets for single-family and residential construction projects.
Conduct thorough market analysis to identify competitive advantages and tailor approaches for different client segments to maximize impact in targeted markets.
Proactively identify and pursue new business opportunities through diverse channels, including cold-calling, business visits, networking events, industry conferences, and referrals.
Build and maintain a strong pipeline of potential clients and projects to ensure continuous business expansion and sustainability.
Cultivate and maintain robust, long-term relationships with General Contractors and other key stakeholders.
Serve as the primary liaison with clients, ensuring high levels of satisfaction while fostering trust and loyalty to encourage repeat business.
Craft and deliver compelling presentations and proposals that clearly articulate the value of our services to prospective clients.
Tailor pitches to meet specific client needs, demonstrating how our solutions effectively address their objectives and challenges.
Oversee multiple projects simultaneously, ensuring completion on schedule and adherence to or exceedance of quality standards.
Continuously monitor project progress, promptly address issues, and maintain transparent communication with all parties involved.
Collaborate closely with internal teams, including project management, operations, and finance, to ensure seamless project execution.
Align sales efforts with overall company objectives and facilitate effective interdepartmental communication to drive optimal outcomes.
