Bedrock Energy•New York, NY

About The Position

Bedrock Energy is hiring its first commercial team member to shape how the company finds, wins, and grows early customers. The role initially works closely with the CEO and, within the first few months, becomes the right hand to the incoming VP of Commercial, helping build the sales organization from the ground up. As the team grows, the position may develop into leadership of a market segment or team within the broader commercial function. The role spans go-to-market strategy, sales deal delivery, commercial systems, and special projects. It is not a scripted BDR or SDR position: the company is refining its story and product-market fit, so the person will educate and learn from customers, then turn those learnings into a repeatable sales motion, tools, and collateral. The role pitches, manages deals, negotiates terms, and builds financial models for customers and Bedrock. It requires curiosity across building energy and HVAC, distributed energy resource economics and utility tariffs, real estate development and construction, geothermal physics and drilling conditions, and customer-organization dynamics. Bedrock Energy develops carbon-free, hyper-efficient geothermal heating and cooling for buildings, aiming to reduce costs and environmental impact. The company was incorporated in 2022 and has raised over $50 million. It seeks collaborative, proactive team members who uphold high standards of excellence, integrity, and commitment to its mission.
