About The Position

We are looking for an experienced, results-oriented BDC (Business Development Center)/Internet Manager to lead our automotive dealership’s customer engagement team. In this key leadership role, you will be responsible for driving high-quality lead generation, strengthening customer relationships, and increasing revenue through effective communication and sales strategies. You will ensure the BDC runs efficiently while delivering exceptional customer service and maximizing opportunities across multiple channels. Requirements

  • Proven experience managing a BDC or sales support team within an automotive dealership
  • Strong background in outside sales, B2B sales, retail sales, and luxury vehicle transactions
  • Demonstrated ability to negotiate, upsell, and close deals with a wide range of customers
  • Proficiency in CRM systems and sales pipeline management
  • Excellent organizational and multitasking skills

Nice To Haves

  • Knowledge of inventory control, retail math, and automotive industry standards is a plus
  • Bilingual or multilingual skills are an advantage
  • Experience with public speaking or presenting at dealership or community events is preferred

Responsibilities

  • Lead, coach, and motivate the BDC/Internet team to meet and exceed daily, weekly, and monthly sales goals through calls, email, and digital outreach
  • Develop and execute strategies to grow the sales pipeline by identifying new prospects and nurturing existing leads using CRM tools
  • Manage both inbound and outbound sales activities, including cold calling, follow-ups, and upselling premium vehicle options
  • Coordinate with inventory teams to ensure vehicle availability aligns with customer demand and marketing initiatives
  • Conduct ongoing training in communication, phone skills, negotiation, and product knowledge to enhance team performance
  • Monitor and analyze customer interactions and pipeline activity using CRM software, providing regular reports to leadership
  • Partner with the marketing team to create campaigns that attract high-end clientele and promote dealership offerings
  • Present vehicle features and dealership services confidently during customer interactions and events
  • Ensure compliance with dealership policies while consistently delivering outstanding customer experiences
