About The Position

CAPTRUST is seeking a dynamic Business Development Financial Advisor to assist in bringing in new clients through our custodial distribution channels. Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as an Investment Advisor Representative (IAR).
• Holding or willing to obtain within 90 days of hire date either a Series 65 OR a Series 66 and Series 7.
• At least 2 years registered as an IAR, plus 3 years immediately prior registered with a broker‑dealer; OR holds a CFP®, CFA®, CPA, or qualifies as a securities portfolio manager.
• Meet and maintain compliance with all ongoing participation requirements applicable to strategic referral partnerships.
• Strong communication skills, including public speaking, with excellent interpersonal abilities.
• Demonstrated analytical, critical‑thinking, and problem‑solving skills.

Nice To Haves

• Bachelor’s degree preferred but not required.

Responsibilities

• Work directly within custodial distribution channels in their branches to develop relationships and business flows.
• Develop relationships with custodial distribution relationship financial consultants in their branches through seminars and other activities.
• Travel is required.
