About The Position

Legacy Mechanical is seeking an experienced and well-networked Business Development Manager to contribute to the long-term growth of their construction segment. The primary responsibility is to initiate new prospects for their design-build offering, execute sales strategies to meet sales goals, and lead the sales process from initial contract through successful deal closure and booking. The role involves building and maintaining key customer relationships, maximizing sales by regularly connecting with established customers, and identifying market opportunities with new customers. A continuous sales funnel must be maintained and updated as directed by management. The Business Development Executive will utilize operations personnel (designers, project managers, specialists) as a resource in the selling process and become active in industry and market organizations. This role operates within a team environment, collaborating with managers, sales, estimating, design, construction, and service personnel to drive business for all of Legacy's offerings.

Requirements

  • 10+ years of industry experience
  • Experienced, well-networked Business Development Manager

Responsibilities

  • Initiate new prospects for our design build offering.
  • Execute sales strategies to meet sales goals and ensure peak performance.
  • Lead the sales process from initial contract through successful deal closure and booking.
  • Build and maintain key customer relationships to successfully acquire positive references to generate additional design build sales.
  • Maximize sales by regularly connecting with well-established customers to maintain current relationships and identify market opportunities with new customers.
  • Maintain a continuous sales funnel and update as directed by management.
  • Utilize operations (designers, project managers & specialist) as a resource in the selling process.
  • Become active in industry related organizations and with market organizations that you are primarily selling.
  • Work in a team environment that includes managers, sales, estimating, design, construction & service personnel to drive business for all Legacy’s offerings.
