Business Development Executive

PeratonReston, VA
$146,000 - $234,000Onsite

About The Position

Lead Peraton's Growth Across One of the Federal Government's Most Mission-Critical Customers. From CBP at the border to DHS Headquarters setting strategy for the whole enterprise — Homeland Security runs at the speed of real-world events, and the technology powering its mission has to keep pace. Peraton is hiring a Senior Business Development Executive to grow our DHS footprint — someone who knows the components, the competitors, and the cadence of how work actually gets shaped inside DHS. If you've spent your career inside the DHS Business Development community — and you want a platform that will back your strategy, your relationships, and your biggest pursuits — let's talk. Why This Role Stands Out: A customer with no off-season. DHS missions don't pause. Border security, cyber, immigration, screening, critical infrastructure — the demand for capability is constant and the modernization runway is long. Real deal scale. You'll be leading pursuits in excess of $200M — the kind of wins that move sector numbers and get noticed at the top of the house. A seat at the growth table. You'll operate as an integral member of the Federal Civilian Sector growth team — not buried three layers down. Shape the work, don't react to it. The wins on this account go to the BD professionals who are inside the customer's planning conversations a year ahead of the solicitation. That's the work here.
