About The Position

TRM Labs provides AI-powered intelligence solutions that help public and private sector agencies investigate and disrupt crime. TRM's platforms enable investigators to trace illicit activity, build cases, and construct operating pictures of threat networks. Leading agencies and businesses worldwide rely on TRM to make the world safer and more secure. This is a business development role focused on opening doors at key financial institutions, leveraging your existing network. It carries variable compensation tied to the success of the partnerships initiated. The ideal candidate has a background as head of digital assets at a bank or has held a position at a crypto infrastructure firm, and can translate this network into strategic conversations for TRM.

Requirements

  • Deep, credible network across US financial institutions, ideally from experience as head of digital assets at a bank or operating at a crypto infrastructure firm.
  • Comfortable with customer-facing and public-facing interactions, including conferences and thought leadership.
  • Proven ability to convert relationships into tangible pipeline, not just introductions.
  • Daily use of AI for research, prospecting, and pipeline management, with a defined workflow.
  • Based in the US.
  • Direct experience with financial institutions or crypto-native infrastructure companies serving them.

Nice To Haves

  • Willingness to travel 30-40% for conferences and in-person account work.

Responsibilities

  • Open doors at target financial institution accounts using an established network.
  • Develop senior relationships across multiple teams within target accounts to ensure sustained presence.
  • Identify and pursue significant partnership opportunities with financial institutions.
  • Represent TRM at industry conferences and forums, generating pipeline through networking and presentations.
  • Collaborate with internal TRM teams to facilitate customer conversion.
  • Act as an early-warning system by identifying market, technology, and regulatory shifts, spotting opportunities and risks.
  • Provide market feedback to TRM's product and go-to-market teams by relaying insights from the field.
