Business Development Director (US Sales)

Andromeda Robotics•San Francisco, CA

About The Position

Andromeda Robotics is building social intelligence technology for humanoid robots, enabling them to understand people and build relationships. Its first robot, Abi, is deployed in aged care and healthcare settings, providing conversation, companionship, and engagement. The company is scaling from early deployments toward a platform that can operate across thousands of real-world environments. The Business Development Director is a hands-on, execution-first individual contributor role with no direct reports today. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento Area, with time spent in the San Francisco office, especially during ramp-up. Approximately 80% of the role is focused on sales, including local outreach, client visits, on-site demonstrations, and U.S. industry conferences; the role involves 40–50% travel. The remaining 20% focuses on representing the U.S. market internally and sharing operational feedback with product and engineering teams. The director will own the U.S. sales pipeline, develop regional and multi-site senior living operator relationships, lead hardware demonstrations, and help turn facility pilots into enterprise rollouts. The role will also contribute to U.S. packaging, pricing, and pilot frameworks, support pilot launches and early deployments with Customer Success and Product/Engineering, and maintain CRM records and commercial KPI reporting.
