About The Position

Andromeda is building a social intelligence layer for humanoid robots. Its first robot, Abi, is deployed in aged care and healthcare, providing conversation, companionship, and engagement. The company is scaling from early deployments toward a platform for thousands of real-world environments. The Business Development Director is a hands-on, execution-first individual contributor role with no direct reports today. The position is based in the San Francisco Bay Area or Sacramento Area, with time spent in the San Francisco office, especially during ramp-up. The remaining 20% involves gathering U.S. market feedback and sharing it with product and engineering teams. The role owns the U.S. sales pipeline, targets regional and multi-site senior living operators, leads live hardware demonstrations, supports pilots and early deployments, and helps shape the U.S. commercial playbook. The position also maintains CRM and pipeline records, reports on commercial KPIs, and collaborates with Australia-based colleagues.
