This role is responsible for achieving annual sales plans and targets for assigned accounts, establishing and growing client relationships, and developing account plans and partnerships. The Business Development Director will provide weekly sales activity reports, develop client call cycles, and gather competitive intelligence. They will sell the business unit's capabilities, identify cross-selling opportunities with other business units, and manage client expectations. Collaboration with company-wide resources is essential for superior customer satisfaction. The role involves organizing and hosting client visits, evaluating quotations, and utilizing SFDC for internal communication and client information management. Responsibilities also include opportunity management, accurate pipeline forecasting, and collaborating with other Fortrea sales units to identify and win multi-unit projects. The Director will assist in determining margins and pricing with Client Services, participate in proposal scope development, maintain frequent client contact, and participate in corporate teams to build relationships with key accounts. Leading client presentations and supporting an established client base are also key functions. The client base may include domestic, regional, or transatlantic responsibilities.
