About The Position

Fort Lauderdale Behavioral Health Center (FLBHC) is a 182-bed acute care psychiatric hospital in Oakland Park, Fort Lauderdale, Florida. It provides care for children, adolescents, adults, and seniors through inpatient acute care, partial hospitalization, and intensive outpatient programs. The Business Development Coordinator covers West Palm Beach, Palm Beach, and Lake Worth, working with assigned territories and accounts to support business development and marketing activities.

Requirements

At least two years of experience in a health care business development or marketing environment, with measurable business development results.
Crisis Prevention Intervention (CPI) certification or equivalent is required.
Valid driver’s license required.
Knowledge of basic community and business development concepts.
Ability to interpret and communicate data from statistical reports.
Knowledge of key internal and external health-care environments and programs.
Demonstrated superior customer service skills with external and internal customers.
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet corporate deadlines.
Ability to organize and prioritize workloads and multitask across accounts and referral sources.
Sensitivity to and awareness of diverse cultures and their practices.

Nice To Haves

Bachelor’s degree in a behavioral health area, marketing, business administration, or a related field, or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
Knowledge of psychiatric and chemical dependency treatment principles.
Knowledge of senior management credentials.
