As a Business Development Associate, you’ll help drive growth by building and maintaining strong relationships with referral sources, community providers, and local organizations. This role focuses on increasing patient volume through strategic outreach, networking, and marketing initiatives while representing Spinal Recovery Center within the community. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business Management, Marketing, or a related field required
  • At least one (1) year of experience in healthcare business development, community relations, customer service, fundraising, or a related field required
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong interpersonal and customer service skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite or related software
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
  • Extensive knowledge of public relations and fundraising principles and strategies
  • Excellent public speaking and presentation skills
  • Strong networking skills with the ability to build and maintain professional relationships

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in the healthcare industry preferred
  • Experience in marketing project management, communications, marketing campaign development, and/or event planning preferred

Responsibilities

  • Increase patient volume through networking, marketing efforts, and relationship-building within the community
  • Research prospective referral sources in targeted markets and pursue new business opportunities
  • Build and maintain relationships with community providers and referral partners within assigned territories
  • Promote company services to referral sources and community stakeholders
  • Represent the company professionally and ensure services are portrayed positively in the community
  • Develop an understanding of target markets, industries, company contacts, and referral strategies
  • Maintain marketing event calendars and coordinate staff participation at events
  • Gather consumer feedback and maintain records to assess marketing plan effectiveness and recommend adjustments
  • Communicate customer and client feedback to leadership in a clear and actionable format
  • Support marketing campaigns, communications efforts, and outreach initiatives
  • Provide weekly updates on goals achieved, targets met, and future plans
  • Collaborate closely with staff and leadership to support ongoing business development initiatives
  • Perform other related duties as assigned
