As a Business Continuity Specialist, Senior within PNC's Enterprise Event Management organization, you will be based in Pittsburgh, PA, Strongsville, OH, Birmingham, AL, Dallas, TX or Phoenix, AZ. Schedule: Standard business hours 7 AM to 4 PM or 8 am to 5 pm potential for occasional adjustment / additional hours to support business needs. Join PNC’s Technology Security Risk and Resiliency (TSRR) team as a Business Continuity Sr Specialist supporting Enterprise Resiliency efforts. In this role, you’ll help ensure compliance, governance, and readiness for disruptive events, supporting critical resiliency programs across the enterprise. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred; certifications in Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Crisis Management desirable.
  • 2+ years of relevant experience (or equivalent combination of education and experience).
  • Strong analytical, communication, and organizational skills.
  • Required advanced to expert proficiency in Microsoft Office products; Tableau experience a plus.
  • Prior experience handling administration for Business Resiliency and Crisis Response tools preferred.
  • Customer Focused - Knowledgeable of the values and practices that align customer needs and satisfaction as primary considerations in all business decisions and able to leverage that information in creating customized customer solutions.
  • Managing Risk - Assessing and effectively managing all of the risks associated with their business objectives and activities to ensure they adhere to and support PNC's Enterprise Risk Management Framework.

Nice To Haves

  • Tableau experience a plus.
  • Certifications in Resiliency, Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity or Crisis Management desirable.

Responsibilities

  • Support business resiliency program risk procedures, response plans, and playbook development and deployment.
  • Maintain and improve response plans, Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs), metrics (all levels) and reporting.
  • Act as a liaison for vendors or administrators of response resiliency tools.
  • Development of process flow incorporating risk identification for control review or development.
  • Partner with leadership to advance resiliency programs and meet regulatory requirements.
  • Facilitate training, testing, and exercises to strengthen preparedness.
  • Integration, Governance, Strategy and Planning bringing together Resiliency, Response, and Risk as it relates to the Crisis Management Program or others as defined.
  • Develops business continuity and disaster recovery plans; oversees testing, emergency response, and recovery.
  • Provides insight on the selection of operating strategies for the continuation of the business within a recovery time objective.
  • Leads business recovery, crisis management, emergency management, contingency planning and disaster-preparedness planning.
  • Provides support and expertise during live events.
  • Conducts, communicates, and maintains business continuity lifecycle planning and business impact analysis.
  • Identifies and quantifies the potential impact of various disruptions and disaster scenarios.
  • Participates in the preparation of reporting for the LOB committee/executive on the compliance of business continuity processes, readiness, events and exercise results.
  • May partner with audit and government regulators on business continuity issues.
  • Leads the development and enhancement of information on continuity processes, standards and initiatives.
  • Provides support for the development and delivery of training on business continuity.
