About The Position

Wells Fargo is hiring a Business Banker in Consumer Banking and Lending to build, maintain, and grow relationships with business banking clients in branches. The role involves frequent client interactions to understand and meet their needs, managing a portfolio of low- to moderately complex business clients—typically businesses with $500,000 to $2 million in annual sales—and owning the client journey from onboarding through relationship development and new-client acquisition. The banker provides a client-centric experience and serves as a trusted partner by recommending Wells Fargo financial solutions and digital services tailored to clients’ goals and operations. The position includes prospecting and networking, developing referral relationships, and collaborating with internal banking channels, Relationship Managers, and Lending Officers. It also entails customer contact and may involve assessing needs and referring customers interested in dwelling-secured products to a SAFE team member; the banker does not take applications or offer or negotiate terms for those transactions. The position requires LO registration after employment begins and compliance with applicable Consumer Financial Protection Bureau qualification requirements and Wells Fargo policies. The role is not eligible for visa sponsorship.
