About The Position

The Business Architect will play a pivotal role in aligning enterprise systems, such as Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, iFirm, QuickBooks, and ServiceNow, with strategic business capabilities to enhance operational efficiency and client service delivery. This replacement role is ideal for a systems thinker and skilled collaborator who thrives in cross-functional environments. The successful candidate will act as a bridge between business strategy and solution delivery, leveraging architectural frameworks to guide system integration.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2–3 years of experience in business analysis, business architecture, or solution design within a complex or enterprise setting.
  • Experience with task-management, workflow, case-management, or work-orchestration platforms, including process redesign, system transition, integration requirements, reporting, controls, and change adoption.
  • Strong knowledge of CRM, ERP, financial systems, workflow platforms, and ITSM platforms such as Microsoft Dynamics, Workday, iFirm, QuickBooks, ServiceNow, or comparable enterprise systems.
  • Proficient in business capability design, process modelling, including BPMN.
  • Demonstrated experience in process optimization and digital transformation.
  • Practical fluency with AI-enabled productivity and analysis tools, with the ability to use AI responsibly to accelerate documentation, process analysis, requirements development, research, and stakeholder synthesis.
  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Information Systems, or a related field.
  • Strong communication, facilitation, and stakeholder engagement skills.
  • Analytical mindset with the ability to interpret data and drive decision-making.
  • Adept at navigating both business and technical environments, with the ability to influence and challenge constructively.

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications in Business Architecture, Business Analysis, or Project Management considered an asset.

Responsibilities

  • Partner with senior stakeholders to define business capabilities, value streams, and target operating models across departments including client service, finance, HR, and operations.
  • Model current and future state processes to drive system alignment and operational improvement.
  • Collaborate with solution architects, product owners, and technical teams to ensure platforms are designed with business outcomes in mind.
  • Develop business architecture artifacts such as capability maps, integration models, process flows, and business requirements.
  • Provide insight and recommendations on system integration, automation, and data flow improvements.
  • Facilitate stakeholder workshops and interviews to support requirements gathering and design consensus.
  • Support program planning through initiative prioritization, benefits realization, and requirements traceability.
  • Support development of integrated business and technology roadmap strategies while researching/understanding emerging technologies and competitor practices.
  • Contribute to governance processes related to enterprise systems and architectural standards.
  • Promote a shared understanding of business goals and foster collaboration between technical and non-technical teams.
