Business Architect
About The Position
Accenture Federal Services is hiring a Business Architect to help improve business workflows and deliver business architecture solutions for US federal government clients. The role analyzes current processes, leads business process reengineering initiatives, and translates business needs into functional specifications and solution designs. The Business Architect works with stakeholders and technical teams, supports Pega-based solutions, develops recommendations for enhancements, and assists with change management and process transitions. The position requires working 100% onsite in Arlington, Virginia, and the ability to obtain a secret clearance.
Requirements
- At least 3 years of professional experience.
- Expertise in business process reengineering, workflow analysis, and process optimization.
- Strong background in requirements gathering and documentation.
- Familiarity with process mapping and requirements management tools.
- Ability to translate complex processes into clear, actionable insights.
- Strong communication, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
- Experience facilitating stakeholder discussions and driving consensus.
- Must be able to obtain a secret clearance.
- Must be willing to work 100% onsite in Arlington, Virginia.
Nice To Haves
- Bachelor's degree is strongly desired.
- Pega certification, such as Business Architect, System Architect, or related.
- Hands-on experience with Pega in business architecture or process design contexts.
- Experience with process automation tools.
- Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, SAFe, or Kanban.
- Exposure to Lean, Six Sigma, or other process improvement frameworks.
- Experience delivering end-to-end process transformations.

- Partner with technical teams to align business and technical objectives.
- Support change management activities and assist teams through process transitions.
