The “ Analyst, Business Application Technology ” will be based in Dallas, TX reporting to our site Information Technology Manager at our Crown site. This role will be primarily working with SAP S4/HANA. In charge of providing technical administrative and implementations holds up for one or more applications. Ensuring ITIL practices are followed diligently at all times. EIS implementation solutions, designed around the web. Methods product and align the IT services provided with the needs of the Business. While the primary focus is on the stability of the systems, architecting, design, installation and setup of the application/s are other core controls for this role.

Requirements

Typically requires a Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience and training in Computer, Engineering, or Administration.
Typically requires 4 years of related experience.
Experience with SAP S4/HANA is strongly preferred.
Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
Demonstrates thorough knowledge of the function.
Demonstrates knowledge of multiple functional technologies/processes, industries or functions and comprehension of connections of such processes at the site.

Responsibilities

Diligent management and coordination of all aspects of assigned projects to ensure proper design and solution.
Participation in strategic planning and development of the enterprise architecture.
Definition, design, implementation, and support of infrastructure & application solutions.
Preparation of Standard Operating Procedures for the day-to-day maintenance of applications and underlying systems.
Ensuring knowledge pertaining to new implementations and technologies are adequately shared within the team.
Ensuring adequate monitoring and controls are in place to ensure stability of solutions, Service-Now incidents and Baan.
Establishment of clear communication channels and feedback mechanisms with customers, peers, and cross-functional teams.
Adherence to Service Level Agreements with the Business.
Timely reviews with stakeholders.
Ensuring proper backup and retention policies are in place to minimize data loss in case of failures.
Minimizing ‘MTTR (Mean time to Repair)’ while fixing problems.
Follow-up with proper root cause investigation, corrective & preventive actions to increase ‘MTBF (Mean time between failures)’.
Ensuring compliance of systems with security and compliance requirements.
Proposing system enhancements (software and hardware updates) to improve system performance and reliability.
Making final resolutions on administrative or operational matters and ensuring effective achievement of operational goals.
Reviewing operational success goals, developing, modifying, and executing company policies that affect immediate operations and may have company-wide effects.
Establishing and assuring adherence to budgets, schedules, work plans, and performance requirements.
Working with EIS to support the team in knowledge base management and training on new and updated solutions.
