About The Position

The Business Analytics Consultant on PNC’s Customer Interaction Management Strategy & Analytics team will play a supporting role in accelerating profitable marketing growth by developing, applying, and scaling next-best-everything decisioning optimizations. The role leverages customer behavior, marketing performance, and business data to identify opportunities, quantify impact, and deliver analyses that drive business outcomes in partnership with stakeholders across the organization. The Business Analytics Consultant will generate key data frames and data sets that inform decision inputs, including algorithm refinement, value frameworks, propensity models, constraints, and business rules and campaign performance.

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of experience in marketing, customer, or decision analytics (preferably in financial services), with demonstrated strong results orientation, and/or indicate progress tackling complex problems–Pegasystems CDH experience is advantageous.
  • Success in this role requires strong analytical skills, a self-starter mentality, and a relentless focus on leveraging data and insights to quickly answer key business questions.
  • Focuses on achieving significant business results rather than seeking unwarranted perfection. They proactively recognize and communicate obstacles, and succinctly convey analytical insights to highlight business and customer implications.

Responsibilities

  • Leverages analytical tools to provide business and technical expertise for the analytics process, tools and applications for a business function or business unit to create data driven solutions.
  • Recommending appropriate performance measures to be produced including lifts, efficiencies, confidence intervals, and other statistical metrics.
  • Analyzing and processing data, building and maintaining models and report templates, and developing dynamic, data-driven solutions.
  • Providing business clients with detailed, actionable reports documenting the findings from, data processing, and data analysis.
  • Consulting on using business intelligence data for predictive analytics and facilitating implementation of new tools and data marts.
