The Workday Enterprise Solutions Team (WEST) is responsible for the administration and optimization of Workday and related systems for Finance, Human Resources, and Research Administration across the Universities of Wisconsin System. This team focuses on continuous improvement, system maintenance, projects, release enhancements, support, and strategic integration of the Workday ERP and related systems. The Campus Partnership Business Analyst provides advanced embedded support to assigned units, acting as a liaison, leading process improvement projects, and ensuring alignment with WEST and unit priorities. This role has a strong focus on data, reporting, and analytics, involving complex data analysis, resolving reporting challenges, and providing strategic guidance on reporting tools like Workday Reporting and Tableau. The Business Analyst collaborates across functions to design and implement sustainable solutions, builds strong relationships, understands business and enterprise application operations, and delivers hands-on support for process improvements and problem-solving. The ideal candidate possesses strong analytical, technical, and communication skills, advanced critical thinking and problem-solving abilities, and experience working independently and collaboratively, with expertise in data analysis, reporting strategy, and ERP systems, as well as experience supporting organizational change or process improvement initiatives. This role is crucial for the ongoing effectiveness of the WEST team and the assigned unit.
