About The Position

Triunity Software is seeking a Business Analyst to bridge business needs and technology solutions in a software environment. The role is based in Calgary, Alberta, and involves gathering and documenting business requirements, translating them into functional specifications and user stories, and collaborating with development, quality assurance, and project management teams throughout the software development lifecycle. The Business Analyst will also analyze workflows, maintain project documentation, and support user acceptance testing to ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives.

Requirements

At least 2 years of experience as a Business Analyst, preferably in a software or technology environment.
Proficiency in requirements gathering, process mapping, and gap analysis.
Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies and sprint-based delivery.
Familiarity with JIRA, Confluence, Visio, or similar platforms.
Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
Strong analytical and critical thinking abilities, with attention to detail.
Bachelor's degree in Business, Information Technology, Computer Science, or a related field.

Nice To Haves

CBAP certification or equivalent is considered an asset.

Responsibilities

Gather, analyze, and document business requirements from stakeholders across departments.
Translate business needs into functional specifications and user stories for development teams.
Facilitate workshops, interviews, and meetings to elicit and validate requirements.
Analyze existing workflows and processes, identify inefficiencies, and recommend improvements.
Collaborate with developers, QA teams, and project managers throughout the software development lifecycle.
Create and maintain documentation, including BRDs, process flows, and use cases.
Support user acceptance testing and ensure delivered solutions meet business objectives.
