About The Position

This is a full-time Business Analyst (BA) position focused on managing the user acceptance testing (UAT) phase of a Salesforce implementation project. The BA will collaborate with the client's System Integrator and play a key role in driving UAT. Prior knowledge of Salesforce and PeopleSoft is required. The role involves leading UAT, coordinating testing rounds, managing documentation, collaborating with other BAs and testers, working with external vendors, facilitating requirements sessions, assisting with system design, ensuring documentation is current, providing regular progress updates to the Project Lead, and communicating with internal stakeholders.

Requirements

Must have experience implementing a property assessment or property tax system converting from a legacy system to Salesforce within the last year.
Must have a minimum of ten (10) years of experience working as a software/technology business analyst or product management related role on more than five (5) system implementation or enhancement projects.
The proposed resource must have experience and a proven track record with soliciting and documenting business requirements or user stories, writing functional requirements or specs, and business process mapping.
Knowledge of SalesForce and PeopleSoft system
Prior work in state and local customers
Strong Business Analyst and Project Management skills

Nice To Haves

Past working experience in requirements definition, solution design, and software development through general availability following software development lifecycle best practices highly preferred.

Responsibilities

Lead the project through the UAT phase, coordinating multiple testing rounds and managing related documentation, including the creation and review of test cases and user guides.
Collaborate with other BAs and testers to ensure effective execution and support of UAT, with a focus on preparing for each round of testing.
Work closely with the external vendor resources and ensure deliverables are met according to the project timeline.
Facilitate requirements sessions as necessary, and review deliverables for accuracy. Ensure traceability of all requirements to other artifacts.
Work with BAs, product team, QA, developers and other system consultants to design and implement the system. Produce design artifacts (mock up, wireframes, user stories).
Ensure all project-related documentation (test cases, user guides, workflows, functional designs) is current and comprehensive.
Provide regular updates to the Client’s Project Lead, highlighting risks, issues, and progress.
Coordinate with internal stakeholders to ensure clear communication, project alignment, and timely delivery.
Creation, review and testing of UAT artifacts, such as test cases, test data, user guides, and testing documentation.
Creation, review, and documentation of product backlog items such as user stories, bugs, project tasks.
Work plans, task breakdowns, and work estimate as required.
Administrative items such as status reports of work, timesheets, meeting notes, required trainings.
