About The Position

We are seeking an experienced Business Analyst with a strong background in Banking and Commercial Lending to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for gathering, analyzing, and documenting business and functional requirements, acting as a key liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams. This role will support the entire construction loan lifecycle, from origination to payoff, including detailed analysis of loan draw processes, inspections, disbursements, covenant tracking, and project monitoring.

Requirements

• 8+ years of Business Analysis experience.
• 5+ years of Commercial Lending domain experience.
• Strong knowledge of Construction Loans.
• Strong knowledge of Commercial Real Estate (CRE) Lending.
• Strong knowledge of Loan Origination Systems (LOS).
• Strong knowledge of Loan Servicing.
• Strong knowledge of Draw Management & Disbursements.
• Strong knowledge of Credit Analysis & Underwriting.
• Strong knowledge of Covenant Monitoring.
• Strong knowledge of Risk & Regulatory Compliance.
• Experience with Agile/Scrum methodologies.
• Strong SQL and data analysis skills.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with lending platforms such as AFS, ACBS, nCino, Loan IQ, PrecisionLender, or similar.
• Experience in large-scale lending modernization or cloud transformation programs.
• CBAP, CCBA, or PMI-PBA certification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Gather, analyze, and document business and functional requirements.
• Act as the liaison between business stakeholders and technology teams.
• Support end-to-end construction loan lifecycle, including origination, underwriting, approval, servicing, and payoff.
• Analyze loan draw processes, inspections, disbursements, covenant tracking, and project monitoring requirements.
• Create BRDs, FRDs, user stories, process flows, and business rules.
• Support UAT, defect management, and production implementation activities.
• Collaborate with lenders, credit teams, risk management, operations, and technology teams.
