Business Analyst

Bickham Services Unlimited, LLCHouston, TX
$65 - $70Remote

About The Position

We are hiring an experienced Business Analyst with deep title and escrow technology experience to support a multi-program title and escrow technology transformation for a national title and settlement services organization. This is hands-on analysis and documentation work. You will map current-state operations, lead the gap analysis, design target-state workflows, and translate business needs into clear requirements that configuration and integration teams build from. The program runs two concurrent efforts: a production platform migration and decommission, and a multi-instance platform consolidation, both feeding a shared reporting and integration modernization. You will own the analysis and documentation that anchors both. The timeline is condensed and the work is high visibility, so we need someone who can work independently, document with precision, and keep business and technical stakeholders aligned.

Requirements

  • Hands-on title and escrow technology experience. Direct, recent experience with one or more title and escrow production or closing platforms, such as SoftPro, ResWare, RamQuest, Qualia, AIM+, or similar.
  • Working knowledge of title and escrow operations: orders intake, title production, escrow and settlement, trust and escrow accounting, recording, and closing.
  • Proven business analysis experience: requirements gathering, process mapping, gap analysis, and clear, well-structured written documentation.
  • Experience supporting system implementations, migrations, or consolidations in a title, escrow, or settlement services environment.
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to translate between business and technical audiences and to keep a fast-moving, multi-workstream program aligned.
  • Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities on a condensed timeline.
  • Willingness to travel for periodic on-site work (a small number of out-of-state visits per project).

Nice To Haves

  • Project management experience: PMP, CSM, or a demonstrated track record coordinating workstreams, timelines, and dependencies.
  • Experience with Workday integrations and the deprecation of legacy ERP or accounting systems such as Business Central.
  • Experience with banking and wire integrations and reconciliation tooling (for example, Rynoh, positive pay, secure wire platforms).
  • Exposure to integration middleware (for example, Palantir) or related data-mapping work.
  • Business analysis or product certification (PMI-PBA, CBAP, or CSPO).

Responsibilities

  • Document current-state title and escrow production workflows, staff-to-system mappings, and data flows across platforms such as SoftPro Select, ResWare, and legacy production systems.
  • Lead current-state versus target-state gap analysis for platform migrations and multi-instance consolidations.
  • Produce target-state workflow documentation that serves as the build specification for configuration teams.
  • Gather and document requirements for integrations, including production-system-to-Workday, banking and wire (incoming and outgoing wires, positive pay), and reconciliation tools such as Rynoh.
  • Design and validate title and escrow production processes, including the banking, escrow, and wire processes.
  • Define data migration scope, history requirements, and cleansing needs across source and target systems.
  • Serve as the bridge between business stakeholders (title, escrow, accounting) and the technical and configuration teams, keeping requirements clear and decisions documented.
  • Support test planning, user acceptance testing, and go-live and cutover readiness.
  • Support the program manager with documentation, risk and dependency tracking, and status reporting.
